Information we collect
- Contact information you provide when scheduling service: name, phone number, email address, and service address.
- Service records: inspection reports, test results, photos of the systems we inspect, invoices, and appointment history.
- Website basics: standard server logs (IP address, pages requested) used for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
- To schedule, confirm, and perform inspections and related services.
- To deliver your reports, invoices, and service communications.
- To send text messages you have opted into (see SMS section below).
- To meet legal and regulatory record-keeping requirements for licensed inspection work.
SMS / Text messaging privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
- We send text messages only to customers and team members who have opted in — for appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, report-ready notifications, and on-call/safety alerts.
- Message frequency varies by your service activity. Message and data rates may apply.

What we never do
- We do not sell your personal information. To anyone. Ever.
- We do not share your phone number, opt-in status, or any mobile information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
- We do not send marketing texts without your express opt-in.
Sharing that does happen
- Service providers who help us operate (e.g., our cloud hosting and messaging delivery providers) process data only on our behalf and only to deliver our services to you.
- With your direction: e.g., when you ask us to send your report to your real-estate agent or contractor.
- Legal requirements: if required by law, subpoena, or to protect health and safety (e.g., reporting a failed septic system where required by North Carolina regulations).
Security & retention
Data is stored on access-controlled servers with encryption in transit, daily backups, and audit logging. Inspection records are retained as required by North Carolina licensing rules; you may request deletion of non-required records at any time.
